About Us
nce upon a time, there was a lovely couple, Ron and Rosemarie. After they were married, they lived in Charminster with their dog, Captain. They later moved to Winton, in Bournemouth, where they owned a shop selling gifts and basketware. Eventually, they moved this business to Somerset, where they expanded into selling cane furniture.
During this time, they had three daughters and they were very happy. (Well, who wouldn't be happy with three lovely daughters!) Alongside running the business, they enjoyed many family holidays, including days on their canal boat at Devizes, as well as visits to Cornwall and Wales.

Ron's hobby since childhood had been stamp collecting and this soon grew into a secondary business with the help of his eldest daughter. (The other two wouldn't know a penny black from a penny farthing!)

As the years went by, with their daughters grown and beginning their own adventures, it was time to enter into a new life - of retirement! But where would they choose for this new beginning? Well, where else, but sunny Wales, of course!

​So, in 2006 they crossed the River Severn into their new homeland, settling down in the beautiful county of Carmarthenshire. They have both since continued to enjoy all that Wales has to offer - the variety of local attractions, the scenic countryside, and the breathtaking coastlines.
​
By 2016, Ron and Rosemarie had 6 grandchildren - 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. Ron had continued with his lifelong interest in stamps, as well as enjoying spending time gardening. But having been advised to relax more and work less, he decided that they would venture into caravan holidays... well, why not!
​
An opportunity arose where they could own a caravan overlooking the beautiful Carmarthen Bay, combining their love of the Welsh coast and countryside. They have both welcomed the help of their daughters; their youngest daughter deals with bookings, enquiries, cleaning duties and general customer services. Their middle daughter has taken care of all general administration and design work, including guest material, business cards and the website.
And so, they are now very happy to offer their caravan accommodation to people wanting to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the surrounding Welsh countryside and coastline at the picturesque Carmarthen Bay.
